In Q2 2024, the top historical games in the Netherlands exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five games:
Royal Match by Dream Games saw a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $197K in the week of June 10. Downloads remained steady, with a slight decrease towards the end of the quarter, averaging around 10K per week. Weekly active users fluctuated but stayed within the range of 220K to 250K.
Frontline Heroes: WW2 Warfare from HOMA GAMES, despite being a relatively new release, showed impressive growth. Revenue climbed from negligible amounts to about $157 in mid-June. Downloads peaked in mid-May at approximately 4.4K, and weekly active users increased steadily, reaching around 8.1K by the end of June.
Lilith Games’ Rise of Kingdoms maintained a solid performance with revenue ranging from $36K to $55K, with the highest revenue recorded in early June. Downloads varied, peaking at 2.5K per week in late May. Active users saw minor fluctuations but remained around the 10K to 12K mark.
Fallout Shelter by Bethesda experienced a significant revenue spike in mid-April, reaching nearly $13K. Downloads were highest in mid-April at around 4.3K, and active users peaked in late April at approximately 8.9K, followed by a gradual decline.
ONESOFT GLOBAL PTE. LTD.'s 1945 - Airplane shooting game showed varied performance metrics. Revenue peaked at about $4.3K in late May, while downloads saw a high of 2.3K in early June. Active users reached their peak in mid-June at around 14.3K, maintaining a strong presence throughout the quarter.
