In Q2 2024, the top 5 medical apps in Latin America displayed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at each app's metrics:
Meu SUS Digital from Servicos e Informacoes do Brasil saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 227K in early April and dropping to approximately 134K by the end of June. Weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at 1.16M in early June before settling at around 1M by the end of the quarter.
Doctoralia: Cuide da sua saúde from Doctoralia maintained a relatively stable number of weekly downloads, starting at 80K and ending at around 54K. Active users saw minor fluctuations, peaking at 332K in mid-April and ending the quarter at approximately 293K.
Farmacias Del Ahorro from Comercializadora Farmaceutica de Chiapas experienced a peak in weekly downloads at around 74K in late April, followed by a gradual decline to about 57K by the end of June. Active users remained fairly constant, fluctuating around the 220K to 240K range.
Amil Clientes from Amil Assistencia Medica Internacional SA had a consistent number of weekly downloads, ranging from 25K to 41K. Active users showed a significant increase towards the end of the quarter, rising from 198K in early April to approximately 235K by late June.
GNDI Easy from Hapvida Assistência Médica Ltda displayed a stable trend in weekly downloads, maintaining around 18K to 32K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users saw a peak of 317K in late April before stabilizing around 282K by the end of June.
