In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 paid game applications in Belgium showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. This data, gathered from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of these popular games.
Minecraft by Mojang saw a notable fluctuation in revenue, starting at approximately $6.5K in early April and dropping to around $3.1K by mid-June, before rebounding to $5.1K at the end of the quarter. Downloads for the game remained relatively steady, averaging around 160-230 per week. The game maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users fluctuating between 81K and 89K.
Ninja Kiwi's Bloons TD 6 experienced a moderate increase in revenue, peaking at approximately $767 in mid-May before settling at around $401 by the end of June. Downloads showed a similar pattern, with the highest number of 89 in mid-May. Weekly active users remained fairly consistent, ranging from 1.1K to 1.5K throughout the quarter.
RFS - Real Flight Simulator from RORTOS SRL displayed a steady revenue increase, reaching $490 in mid-June before dipping to $351 by the end of the quarter. Downloads fluctuated slightly, with a peak of 79 in early May. Weekly active users hovered around the 240-290 mark, showing slight variations week by week.
Slay the Spire, published by Humble Bundle, had a consistent revenue stream, averaging around $350 each week. Downloads remained stable, with peaks of 71 in mid-May. The game’s weekly active users varied between 579 and 736, maintaining a loyal player base throughout the quarter.
Lastly, Farming Simulator 23 Mobile by GIANTS Software GmbH saw its revenue peak at $439 in early May, before dropping to $282 by the end of June. Downloads were steady, with a slight peak of 48 in mid-May. Unfortunately, specific data on weekly active users for this game was not available.
