In Q2 2024, the top social networking applications in Italy exhibited diverse trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of these leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Azar: Video Chat & Meet People by Hyperconnect LLC saw a consistent rise in revenue, starting at approximately $46K in early April and peaking at around $65K in mid-May. Downloads followed a steady upward trajectory, beginning at 14.7K and reaching 26.6K by the end of June. Weekly active users also grew, moving from 99.6K to 140K over the quarter.
Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat from Grindr LLC maintained a stable revenue stream, fluctuating between $51K and $60K throughout the quarter. Downloads remained relatively constant, ranging from 2.2K to 2.8K. Weekly active users saw a slight increase, starting at 272K and ending at 305K.
BIGO LIVE-Live Stream, Go Live published by BIGO TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. experienced varied revenue trends, with figures peaking at around $50K in early May and settling at $42K by the end of June. Downloads displayed a declining trend, decreasing from 13K to 6.8K. Weekly active users showed a slight dip, moving from 87.1K to 82.7K over the quarter.
Telegram Messenger by Telegram FZ-LLC saw moderate revenue increases, starting at $20K and ending at $23K. Downloads fluctuated but showed an overall positive trend, moving from 61.5K to 64.4K. Weekly active users remained high, with minor fluctuations around the 11.3M to 11.5M mark.
Joi - Live Stream & Video Chat from VLMedia Inc. exhibited a gradual increase in revenue, beginning at $15K and peaking at $21K in early June. Downloads were relatively stable, ranging from 518 to 962. Weekly active users showed minor variations, fluctuating between 7.7K and 9.7K.
