WhatsApp Messenger had a robust quarter with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 2.2M in the week of June 10. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at around $52 in the first week of April and $50 in the second week of June. Active users saw a consistent increase, reaching over 220M by the end of June.
Facebook exhibited steady revenue growth, with weekly figures ranging from $49.4K to $60K, peaking in mid-April. Downloads remained stable, hitting a high of 1.6M in the week of June 10. However, active users experienced a slight decline, from 189M in early April to around 186M by the end of June.
Telegram Messenger showed consistent revenue, averaging around $50K weekly, with a peak of approximately $56.6K in late April. Downloads were steady, with a notable peak of 1M in the first week of June. Active users hovered around 24M, maintaining stability throughout the quarter.
Threads experienced a dynamic quarter in terms of downloads, with a high of 1.1M in early June. Active users saw a significant rise, starting at 14.2M in early April and reaching nearly 20M by the end of June. However, the app did not generate any revenue during the quarter.
Google Meet's performance was notable in terms of active users, which remained around 6M throughout the quarter. Downloads peaked at around 159K in mid-April. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.
