In the third quarter of 2024, the Android gaming landscape in Egypt was dominated by a selection of top-performing 3D realistic games. Based on Sensor Tower data, these games showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.
EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer from ELECTRONIC ARTS saw a notable surge in weekly downloads, peaking at over 207K in late September. Despite a significant drop in weekly revenue from $54.9K at the start of July to about $3.9K by the end of September, the game maintained a robust user base, with active users fluctuating between 2.7M and 3M throughout the quarter.
PUBG MOBILE, published by Level Infinite, experienced consistent weekly downloads, with a high of 171K in early September. Revenue remained relatively stable, averaging around $13K weekly, while active users saw a gradual decline from approximately 1.2M to just over 1M by the end of the quarter.
KONAMI's eFootball™ showed an upward trend in weekly revenue, climbing to $11.3K mid-September. Downloads spiked to 61K in early September, and active users increased steadily, reaching 1.8M by mid-September, before settling at approximately 1.8M by the quarter's close.
Free Fire from Garena International I had a strong start with 137K downloads in early July, though this number gradually decreased to 46K by the end of September. Revenue saw modest fluctuations, peaking at $8.2K in late August. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.6M for most of the quarter.
Finally, Diablo Immortal by Blizzard Entertainment saw low download numbers, with a peak of just over 1K in early September. Revenue was also modest, averaging around $5K weekly. Active user numbers were low but showed some growth, peaking at 2.5K in early September.
