In the third quarter of 2024, the adventure gaming landscape on Android in Costa Rica saw intriguing performance trends among the top five apps, according to Sensor Tower data.
Genshin Impact exhibited an overall positive trend in revenue, starting at approximately $1.4K in early July and peaking at about $1.9K in mid-September. Downloads were relatively stable, with a slight increase from 530 to 667 during August, while weekly active users fluctuated slightly but remained around 11K throughout the quarter.
Zenless Zone Zero experienced a notable initial surge in downloads, with an impressive 15.2K in early July, which then stabilized to a few hundred per week. Revenue peaked at $922 in the second week of July and gradually leveled out to around $195 by the end of September. Active users started at approximately 14.7K, experiencing a gradual decline to about 2.3K by quarter's end.
Summoners War saw a significant spike in revenue at the end of July, reaching $1.4K, before settling down to a range between $300 and $500 in the subsequent weeks. Downloads peaked at 81 in mid-August, while weekly active users hovered around 1.2K, with a slight dip towards the end of the quarter.
Wuthering Waves showed a fluctuating revenue pattern, starting at $1K in the first week of July and ending with a peak of $590 at the end of September. Downloads experienced a moderate increase, reaching 172 by the end of the quarter. Active users saw a gradual decline, from 3K in July to approximately 1.8K by September.
Finally, Solo Leveling:Arise had a steady presence with revenue peaking at $713 mid-July, before declining to around $300 by quarter's end. Downloads experienced a notable increase in late August to 224, while weekly active users remained robust, with a peak of 29.3K in late August, before concluding the quarter around 24.7K.
