In the third quarter of 2024, the basketball gaming scene on Android in Lebanon witnessed varied performance metrics across the top five apps. According to data from Sensor Tower, these games showed diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active user numbers.
Basketball Stars: Multiplayer, developed by Miniclip.com, experienced a gradual increase in weekly revenue. It peaked at around $19 in the week of August 19. The app's weekly downloads saw a decline initially but stabilized towards the end of the quarter, with numbers ranging from 333 to 1.9K. Active user count showed a downward trend, starting at 5.5K and ending at approximately 2.4K.
ELECTRONIC ARTS’ NBA LIVE Mobile Basketball had a challenging quarter with no revenue reported after the first week of July. However, the game maintained a steady weekly download count, averaging around 900 downloads. The active user base declined from 7.5K at its peak in early July to about 4.2K by the end of September.
Basketball Life 3D - Dunk Game, published by CASUAL AZUR GAMES, did not generate revenue throughout the quarter. The game’s weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 829 in mid-July before tapering off. Its weekly active users showed a similar pattern, with numbers peaking at 2.3K before dropping to around 1.6K.
Basketball Arena: Online Game from Masomo Gaming reported minimal revenue only in the first week of September. The downloads showed a notable increase mid-quarter, reaching a high of 739. Active users nearly tripled from 720 in early July to 1.9K by September 2, before experiencing a decline.
Lastly, Mini Basketball, another game by Miniclip.com, started Q3 with $3 in revenue, which then dropped to zero for the rest of the quarter. Downloads increased steadily, peaking at 628 by the end of September. Its active users showed significant growth, reaching a high of 980 by the quarter's end.
