During the third quarter of 2024, the top card battler apps on Android in the United States showcased varied performance trends. Data sourced from Sensor Tower reveals intriguing insights into their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.
MARVEL SNAP from Nuverse witnessed fluctuating weekly revenue, beginning the quarter with $244K and peaking at $402K by the end of September. Downloads saw a surge mid-quarter, reaching over 14K in late July and early August. However, weekly active users experienced a decline, starting at 164K and ending at 147K.
Magic: The Gathering Arena, published by Wizards of the Coast LLC, showed a spike in revenue at the end of July with $322K, before stabilizing around $195K by the quarter's end. Weekly downloads varied, peaking at 12K in late July, while active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 60K throughout the period.
WWE SuperCard - Battle Cards by 2K, Inc. experienced an upward trend in revenue, culminating at $144K in mid-August, before closing at $112K. Downloads were modest, with a peak of 1.5K in early August. Active users showed a slight decrease, from 34K at the start to 30K by the end of September.
Topps® BUNT® MLB Card Trader from The Topps Company, Inc. demonstrated a stable revenue pattern, with a high of $109K in late July. Downloads were relatively low, fluctuating between 277 and 1061 weekly. Active users began at 7.4K, dropped slightly, and stabilized around 7K.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links by KONAMI showed a significant increase in revenue, reaching $127K by the end of September. Downloads peaked at 4.3K in early September, and active users increased from 132K to over 156K by quarter's end.
