During the third quarter of 2024, the carpooling and ridesharing app landscape in Ukraine on the Android platform showed notable trends, as observed in data from Sensor Tower.
Uklon - More Than a Taxi saw its downloads fluctuate slightly, starting at around 23.3K in early July and peaking at 26.9K in the second week. By the end of September, downloads stabilized at approximately 21.9K. Weekly active users began the quarter at 196.6K, experiencing a dip mid-quarter but rebounding to 184.5K by the end of September.
Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a relatively stable download rate, beginning with 23.4K and peaking at 26.5K in the second week of July, before settling around 18.9K by the end of the quarter. Active users started strong at 212.5K, with a peak of 226.7K in late August, but concluded the quarter at 172.7K.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus experienced a gradual decline in downloads, starting at 8.6K in early July and decreasing to 5.6K by the end of September. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting at 73.2K and dropping to 64.7K by the quarter's end.
Uber - Request a ride showed a consistent decrease in downloads, beginning at 4.7K and ending at 3.2K. Despite this, weekly active users demonstrated resilience, starting at 98.9K and closing the quarter at 97.7K.
inDrive - Book a Safe Car Ride had a modest presence with downloads starting at 1.2K, peaking at 1.6K in the second week, and settling at 1.2K by the end of September. Active users hovered around 11K throughout the quarter, ending slightly higher at 10.2K.
