In the third quarter of 2024, the top car games on the Android platform in South Africa experienced varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at each of these games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Payback 2 - The Battle Sandbox saw a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, reaching a peak of approximately $46 in the final week of September. Weekly downloads showed a dynamic pattern, with a notable increase to around 25K in late September. Meanwhile, the game's active users demonstrated a steady rise, culminating at approximately 176K by the end of the quarter.
For Dr. Parking 4, weekly downloads maintained a relatively stable trajectory throughout the quarter, with a slight uptick to about 20K in mid-September. Active users also showed a positive trend, increasing from around 63K in early July to approximately 76K by the end of September.
Ramp Car Games: GT Car Stunts experienced a moderate increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $29 in early August. Despite a dip in downloads mid-quarter, the game rebounded to about 13.7K by the end of September. Active users grew steadily, reaching a high of approximately 305K in the final week of the quarter.
Vehicle Masters showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, with a notable rise to about 11.1K in late September. Revenue remained modest, peaking at $13 in the final week of the quarter. The active user base increased gradually, ending the quarter at approximately 71K.
Lastly, Real Car Parking Driving Game experienced a decline in weekly downloads, dropping to around 3.9K by the end of September. Active users saw a slight fluctuation, closing the quarter at roughly 52K.
