2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the third quarter of 2024, Italy's top consumer finance apps on the Android platform demonstrated diverse performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into these apps' market engagement.
BancoPosta maintained a consistent level of weekly downloads, ranging between 17K to 24K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight upward trend, starting from around 1.07M in early July and reaching approximately 1.13M by the end of September.
isybank experienced a significant increase in downloads, particularly towards the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads surged from around 8.2K in mid-July to over 66K by the end of September. Active user numbers reflected a similar upward trajectory, climbing from about 202K to nearly 340K.
Intesa Sanpaolo Mobile showed stable download numbers, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at approximately 12.6K. Active users displayed a gradual increase, starting at 1.42M in early July and reaching about 1.49M by the end of September.
Splitwise recorded a peak in weekly downloads in early August at 14.5K, followed by a decline to around 6.2K by the end of September. Revenue remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations, averaging around $700 weekly. Active users hovered between 70K and 82K throughout the quarter.
Mobile Banking UniCredit experienced steady downloads, with numbers ranging from 6.2K to 9.9K. Active users showed a notable increase, starting from 574K in early July and reaching approximately 641K by the end of September.
