Peru's top consumer finance apps on Android have shown varied performance throughout the third quarter of 2024. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps have demonstrated significant trends in downloads and active user engagement. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared:
Banca Móvil BCP by Banco de Crédito del Perú started the quarter with a strong download count of approximately 143K, which saw a slight dip mid-quarter before rising again to about 116K by the end of September. The app maintained a robust weekly active user base, starting at around 2M and experiencing minor fluctuations, closing the quarter with nearly 2M active users.
The Interbank APP from Banco Internacional del Peru showed consistent weekly downloads ranging from 29K to 37K, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter. Active users for this app also demonstrated a steady growth, beginning at 736K and peaking at approximately 781K in the final week.
BBVA Perú witnessed a decrease in downloads from 28K at the start of the quarter to a low of 21K mid-quarter, before recovering to 26K by the end of September. The active user count remained relatively stable, with a minor increase to 1.04M in the last week of the quarter.
Banco de la Nación saw its downloads fluctuate between 18K and 28K throughout the quarter, ending with around 22K. The app's active users showed an upward trend, growing from 234K to 237K by the end of September.
Finally, Scotiabank Perú experienced a decline in downloads from 13K to 9K mid-quarter, but finished strong with about 12K downloads. The active user base remained relatively stable, closing the quarter with approximately 233K.
