Our data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the performance of the top five cryptocurrency apps: Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto, Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH, CoinSpot - Buy & Sell Bitcoin, Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto, and Tonkeeper — TON Wallet.
Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a slight fluctuation in weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from approximately 1.1K to 1.6K throughout the quarter. The app's active users showed variability, starting at about 30.9K at the beginning of July, peaking mid-September at 35.3K, before closing the quarter at roughly 27.1K.
Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH exhibited a downward trend in weekly downloads, beginning at 1.4K and ending the quarter with around 903 downloads. Meanwhile, active users started at 21.9K, decreasing to 17.9K by the end of September, indicating a steady decline.
CoinSpot - Buy & Sell Bitcoin maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 1.1K and gradually decreasing to approximately 843 by the quarter's end. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 86K to 93K mark throughout the quarter.
Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced a slight increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 1.3K in mid-August. The app's active users showed minor fluctuations, starting at 3.7K and ending the quarter at 4.3K.
Tonkeeper — TON Wallet saw an interesting trend with a notable spike in downloads in mid-September, reaching 1.5K. The app’s weekly active users increased from 5.1K in July to a peak of 5.7K mid-September, before closing the quarter at 4.6K. Additionally, Tonkeeper generated its first revenue in September, starting at $169 and increasing to $526 by the end of the month.
