In the third quarter of 2024, the educational games category on the Android platform in the Middle East showcased diverse performance trends. Here's a closer look at the top five educational games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Adnan The Quran Teacher saw a remarkable surge in weekly downloads, particularly in August, where downloads peaked at around 26K in the week of August 26. This increase in downloads was reflected in the weekly active users, which grew from approximately 41K at the beginning of July to over 70K by early September, before settling at around 54K by the end of the quarter.
For Buddy.ai: Fun Learning Games, weekly revenue fluctuated slightly, reaching a high of about $1.5K in late September. Downloads experienced a downward trend, beginning at 14K in early July and gradually decreasing to around 7.7K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at 18K and declining to 13.5K.
Times Table - Learn Math witnessed steady growth in weekly downloads, which climbed from 4K in early July to over 14K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, increasing from 17K to nearly 37K. Revenue, however, remained minimal, peaking at $7 in select weeks.
Baby Games World: Play & Learn maintained a consistent download range throughout the quarter, with a notable increase to over 9.5K in the final week of September. Active users remained stable, hovering around 18K to 19K. Revenue figures were negligible, with minor fluctuations observed.
Finally, Minecraft Education experienced steady weekly downloads, averaging around 8.5K. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating slightly between 22K and 24K throughout the quarter.
