In the third quarter of 2024, the hack and slash gaming category on Android platforms in Luxembourg saw diverse performances among the top apps, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a breakdown of the trends for the top five games in this category.
Zenless Zone Zero by COGNOSPHERE PTE. LTD. experienced fluctuating revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately $215 in the week of August 19. Downloads began strong with 490 in the first week of July but tapered off to single digits by the end of September. Weekly active users mirrored this decline, dropping from 465 to 107 over the quarter.
Ninja Ryuko: Shadow Ninja Game from Monstermob USA saw a steady download rate, starting at 30 in early July and decreasing to 14 by the end of September. The app maintained a relatively stable number of active users, with a peak of 47 in mid-July.
MARVEL Future Fight from Netmarble showed a varied performance. Revenue was inconsistent, with occasional spikes, notably $34 in the first week of August. Downloads increased steadily, reaching a high of 63 in early September. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to 299 in September.
Stick Demon Shadow Fight by Mana Games Studio, which launched at the end of July, saw a gradual increase in downloads from 6 to 47 by early September. Active users also rose, peaking at 83 in early September before a decline towards the quarter's end.
Finally, Solo Leveling:Arise, also from Netmarble, had a strong start in revenue with $329 in the second week of July, followed by a gradual decrease to $32 by the end of September. Downloads reached their highest at 40 at the end of August, while active users consistently increased, ending the quarter at 860.
