In the third quarter of 2024, the Maps and Navigation category on the Android platform in Israel showcased notable trends for the top 5 apps. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varying patterns in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Moovit: Bus & Train Schedules experienced an upward trend in weekly revenue, reaching around $7.6K by the end of August, although it saw a dip to approximately $4.8K by the end of September. Weekly downloads peaked at 8.8K in late August but declined to roughly 3K by the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated, peaking at about 369K in early September before dropping to 290K by the end of the month.
Circuit Route Planner showed stable weekly revenue throughout the quarter, with a peak at about $4.3K in mid-September. Downloads varied, reaching a high of 2K in late July, while active users remained steady, peaking at nearly 8.9K in late August.
Navionics® Boating saw its weekly revenue peak at $1.5K in late August, with downloads remaining modest, peaking at 65 in early September. Active users showed a slight increase, reaching 176 by early September.
efoBus 2.0 - Transit on time maintained relatively stable revenue, peaking at about $1K in mid-September. Downloads were consistent, with a high of 685 in early September. Active users hovered around 3K, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.
Route Planner - GetWay experienced a decline in weekly revenue from $696 at the start of July to $200 by the end of September. Downloads were minimal, starting only in mid-August with single-digit figures. Unfortunately, there was no data available for active users.
