In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top personal finance budgeting and planning apps on Android in Brazil revealed interesting trends and insights. Using data from Sensor Tower, we break down the performance of the top five apps: Mobills: Budget Planner, My Finances - Bills Reminder, Organizze: Finance tracker, Splitwise, and Despezzas Financial management.
Mobills: Budget Planner from Toro Investimentos saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $9.4K in early September. The app experienced a consistent rise in downloads, reaching over 10K by the end of September, while maintaining a solid base of active users, fluctuating between 69K and 84K throughout the quarter.
My Finances - Bills Reminder observed a steady revenue stream, with weekly earnings ranging from $2.1K to $3.6K. Downloads spiked in late July with over 7.5K, and the app sustained a healthy engagement with active users hovering in the range of 53K to 62K.
Organizze: Finance tracker had a varied revenue performance, peaking at $3.5K by the end of September. Despite a decrease in downloads during the quarter, the active user base remained relatively stable, keeping between 28K and 32K.
Splitwise showed a modest revenue growth, with a peak of $811 by the end of September. Downloads were consistent, averaging around 2.5K per week, while active users maintained a slight dip, ending the quarter with approximately 10K.
Despezzas Financial management experienced an interesting revenue spike to $2.2K at the end of September. Downloads saw fluctuations, with significant increases in late September nearing 3.7K.
