In the third quarter of 2024, the personal finance budgeting and planning apps on the Android platform showed varied performance in Finland. Here's a closer look at the top five apps in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.
YNAB from ynab.com saw fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at $120 in mid-August. The app's downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to 8 in late September. However, active users displayed a minor decline from 65 to 56 over the quarter.
Splitwise maintained a consistent revenue stream with minor dips, ending September with $40. Downloads spiked in early September, hitting 109, while active users experienced a growth, peaking at 831 in the same period.
Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker by BudgetBakers showed an upward trend in revenue, reaching $55 in late August. Downloads were generally modest, with a notable increase to 17 in late September. The app's active user base remained fairly steady, fluctuating around the 130s, and concluding the quarter at 142.
Monefy - Budget & Expenses app by Reflective Technologies witnessed its highest revenue at $62 in late July. Downloads were sporadic, peaking at 15 in mid-August. Active users showed a slight decline, yet finished strong at 93 by the end of September.
Mobills: Budget Planner from Toro Investimentos recorded minimal downloads and modest revenue, with a peak of $26 in early September. Despite the low download numbers, the app maintained a consistent revenue stream throughout the quarter.
