In the third quarter of 2024, the Android platform in Brazil saw intriguing trends for the top superhero games. According to Sensor Tower data, these games exhibited varied patterns in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Marvel Contest of Champions from Kabam Games, Inc. experienced a peak in downloads with 39K in the week of September 2. Revenue saw an initial high of $44K at the beginning of July but gradually decreased to around $14K by the end of September. Weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at 81K in early September and closing the quarter at 56K.
MARVEL Future Fight, developed by Netmarble, achieved its highest revenue of $17K in the first week of August. Downloads surged to 27K in mid-August before tapering off to 7.9K by the end of September. Active users peaked at 127K in early September, ending the quarter with a decrease to 62K.
DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE, published by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., showed a steady download rate, peaking at 10K in the second week of July. Revenue peaked at $11K at the start of August, with fluctuations throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively consistent, averaging around 37K.
Epic Heroes by Dinosaur-Games had notable download peaks, reaching 12K in late July and early August. Revenue remained steady, averaging around $3K weekly. Active users saw a high of 122K in early August, with a slight dip to 94K by the end of the quarter.
Finally, MARVEL Strike Force: Squad RPG from Scopely maintained a steady revenue stream, peaking at $3.5K in early August. Downloads reached a high of 22K in mid-August. Active users increased to nearly 30K around the same time but settled back to 17K by the quarter's end.
