In the third quarter of 2024, the Belgian Android market for tycoon games showcased varied performance metrics for the top five applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Business Empire: RichMan, developed by AAA Fun, saw a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting from 2.8K in early July to 1.5K by the end of September. Its weekly active users began at 17K, peaking at 20.6K in late July, and then declined to around 15.4K by the end of the quarter.
Farmington – Farm game from UGO Games experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, with a notable increase in early September reaching 1.9K before finishing the quarter at 876. The game’s revenue peaked at $754 in early September, while weekly active users rose from 3.5K in early July to 2.7K in mid-September, before ending at 1.8K.
Mountain Bike Park-Tycoon Game by DragonflyEntertainment showed a sharp rise in weekly downloads in mid-July, peaking at 4.9K, before dropping to just 50 by the end of September. Revenue followed a similar trend, climbing to $1.3K in late July, then decreasing to $106 by the end of the quarter. Active users mirrored these trends, starting with a surge to 5.2K in July, but fell to 54 by late September.
Playrix’s Township maintained steady revenue throughout the quarter, with a peak of $12.6K in late September. Weekly downloads showed a decline from 1.4K in early July to 537 at quarter’s end. The active user base remained relatively stable, beginning at 21.1K and ending at 18.2K.
Finally, Zoo 2: Animal Park by upjers GmbH had a gradual increase in revenue, reaching $3.1K in late September. Downloads started at 919 and decreased to 591 by the end of the quarter. Active users started strong at 20K, but saw a decline to 17.6K by the end of September.
