The third quarter of 2024 saw intriguing trends for Viking-themed games on the Android platform across Europe. Data from Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the performance of the top 5 games in this category.
Viking Rise: Valhalla by IGG.COM showed a fluctuating revenue pattern, beginning at approximately $167K and peaking at $197K in early August. Downloads surged to 125K mid-August before stabilizing around 62K by the end of September. The game maintained a robust base of active users, starting at 473K and ending the quarter with about 490K.
Vikingard from Exptional Global had steady weekly revenue, mostly ranging between $52K and $66K. Downloads were modest, peaking at 7K in early September. Active user numbers hovered around 38K at the beginning of the quarter, slightly decreasing to 34K by the end.
Vikings: War of Clans PVP by Plarium LLC experienced a notable revenue peak of $167K in late July. Downloads started at 23K but dwindled to just over 1.5K by the quarter's close. Active users decreased from 30K to around 15K.
Frostborn: Action RPG by KEFIR had a revenue peak at $15K in late September. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 2.3K weekly. Active users saw a decrease, starting at 8.1K and ending slightly lower at 7.2K.
Finally, Vikings: Valhalla from Netflix, Inc. did not report revenue but had minimal download activity, peaking at 81 downloads in mid-August.
