Throughout the third quarter of 2024, the top air travel apps on the iOS platform in Central America showcased varied trends in downloads and user engagement. Here's a look at how each app performed during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Viva Aerobus: Fly! maintained a consistent presence, with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 17.5K mid-July. The app saw fluctuations in active users, starting with around 60K and ending the quarter slightly higher at 61.1K.
Volaris exhibited a stable download rate, with numbers ranging from 13K to 16.5K. Active users followed a similar pattern, beginning at 34.5K and closing the quarter with a slight increase to 35.9K.
Aeromexico experienced a gradual decline in downloads, beginning at 12.5K and ending at 9.4K. Active user metrics also showed a downward trend, moving from 38.7K to 34.3K by the quarter's end.
AMX 2.0 saw moderate download activity, with numbers peaking at 11.7K in mid-August. However, active user data was not available for this app during the quarter.
Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker displayed consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 3.2K to 4.6K. The app's revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately $4K at the end of July. Active users remained stable, hovering around 31K to 32K throughout the quarter.
