In the third quarter of 2024, the top Apple Arcade games on iOS in Oceania demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at how these popular apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Chess - Play & Learn saw a steady revenue increase over the quarter, peaking at approximately $20.6K in the final week of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a notable rise to around 5.5K in the week of September 23. Active users remained stable, hovering around 170K to 175K throughout the period.
Snake.io - Fun Online Snake experienced a modest revenue range, reaching $305 in the week of September 23. Download numbers declined initially but showed recovery towards the end of the quarter, climbing to nearly 4.5K by the last week of September. Active users followed a downward trend initially but then stabilized at approximately 19.8K by the end of the quarter.
Fruit Ninja® displayed a consistent revenue pattern with a peak of $438 in the final week. Downloads increased towards the end of Q3, reaching 4.7K in the week of September 23. The active user base saw a decline early in the quarter but rebounded to about 76.6K by the end of September.
Temple Run had minimal revenue throughout Q3, with a slight increase to $26 in the last week. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 3.9K weekly. Active users showed a slight decline, ending the quarter at approximately 21.4K.
Lastly, Solitaire maintained a stable revenue stream, peaking at $1.6K in late August. Downloads fluctuated but averaged around 3.5K weekly. Active users decreased slightly from 573K to about 549K during the quarter.
