In the third quarter of 2024, the arcade sports category on iOS in the Dominican Republic showcased some interesting trends across the top 5 apps, according to Sensor Tower data.
BASEBALL 9 from playus soft saw a dynamic pattern in its revenue, with a notable peak of approximately $450 in the week of July 22, before stabilizing around $160 by the end of September. Downloads remained fairly consistent, hovering around 1.3K to 1.4K weekly, while active users showed a slight decline from 14K to around 13K over the quarter.
Golf Clash - Golfing Simulator by Electronic Arts experienced fluctuations in revenue, peaking at around $231 at the beginning of July, and then tapering off to $57 by the end of September. Downloads improved notably towards the end of the quarter, reaching 130 in the final week. Active users also increased, growing from 28 to 111 over the same period.
Tennis Clash:Sports Stars Game from Wildlife Studios had a steady increase in downloads, starting at 75 and climbing to 180 by the end of September. Revenue saw a high of $175 in early July, with a resurgence to $136 in the last week of September. Weekly active users rose from 1.3K to 1.6K during the quarter.
Mini Football - Soccer game by Miniclip.com showed a significant drop in downloads, starting at 162 and declining to 16 by the end of the quarter. Revenue reached a peak of $115 in early September before dropping to $8. Active users decreased from 286 to 59 throughout the quarter.
Homerun Clash by HAEGIN Co., Ltd. experienced modest revenue fluctuations, ranging from $49 to $81, with a final dip to $23. Downloads remained low, fluctuating between 5 and 30, while active users decreased slightly from 422 to 358 by the end of September.
