In the third quarter of 2024, the casual games category on iOS in Romania saw significant activity, with notable performances from leading titles like Coin Master, Candy Crush Saga, Royal Match, Gardenscapes, and Backgammon - Lord of the Board. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into their performance.
Coin Master from Moon Active exhibited fluctuating weekly revenue, reaching up to $73K in mid-September. It experienced a decline in downloads from 2.2K in early July to 1.1K by the end of September. Meanwhile, weekly active users decreased from 18.1K to 9.9K over the quarter.
Candy Crush Saga, published by King, maintained a solid revenue stream, peaking at $28.8K in mid-September. Downloads saw modest fluctuations, with a high of 2.5K in early September. The game had a slight decline in weekly active users, averaging around 20K throughout the quarter.
Royal Match by Dream Games showed consistent growth, with revenue peaking at $21K in late September. Downloads steadily increased, reaching 3.7K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users also rose, starting at 39.7K and ending at 44.8K.
Gardenscapes from Playrix saw a revenue increase to $20.3K in mid-August. Downloads were stable, with a slight rise to 3.6K by late September. Active users remained steady, peaking at 26.6K at the end of the quarter.
Finally, Backgammon - Lord of the Board by Beach Bum Ltd experienced a revenue surge, reaching $19K in early September. Downloads, however, declined to 173 by the end of September. Weekly active users saw a decrease from 2.8K to 2.5K over the quarter.
