In the third quarter of 2024, the Film & Television category on iOS in Latvia witnessed interesting trends among the top five apps, according to Sensor Tower data.
Disney+ saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, starting from around $673 in early July and reaching a peak of approximately $735 in mid-September. The app's downloads also showed a notable rise, especially in September, climbing from 147 to 436 by the end of the month.
Tet TV+ experienced a stable revenue flow throughout the quarter, with figures oscillating between $571 and $704. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 375 in early July and maintaining a moderate level through September, with a slight dip to 237 before ending the quarter at 278.
Amazon Prime Video recorded a steady revenue trend, starting at $308 and closing the quarter at $301. Downloads, however, showed a downward trajectory, beginning at 189 and dropping to 95 by the end of September, with a brief spike to 187 mid-month.
ReelShort - Short Movie & TV experienced variability in revenue, with a significant peak of $365 in early August. Downloads were dynamic, with a notable surge to 716 in the first week of August and ending the quarter at 210 after fluctuating throughout September.
Netflix demonstrated consistent performance, with revenue figures ranging from $157 to $197. Downloads remained robust, with a peak of 485 in mid-September, and maintained a steady pace of over 400 for most of the quarter.
