The third quarter of 2024 saw notable activity in the finance app sector on the iOS platform in France. Leading the charge, Revolut: Send, spend and save showed a dynamic trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 35K in early July and peaking at about 59.5K in mid-August. Weekly active users consistently grew from 457K to over 556K by the end of September, reflecting a robust user engagement.
Lydia also displayed strong performance, with weekly downloads ranging from 33K to 47K, and a significant increase in active users, climbing from 146K to 220K. This suggests a growing user base and engagement over the quarter.
Paylib, le paiement mobile experienced steady weekly downloads, fluctuating between 31K and 42K. Its weekly active users showed a gradual increase, starting at 64.5K and closing at 64K, indicating consistent user interest throughout the quarter.
PayPal - Pay, Send, Save maintained a stable trajectory in weekly downloads, beginning at 31K and reaching up to 39K. The active user count rose from 359K in early July to over 403K by the end of September, suggesting sustained user engagement.
Lastly, Tricount - Split group bills showed varied weekly downloads, peaking at 45K in mid-August before tapering to 15K by the end of the quarter. Active users initially increased to 89K in mid-August but saw a decline towards the end of September, settling at around 67K.
