M-PESA from Safaricom Limited maintained a consistent weekly download rate, peaking at around 2.3K in early August and ending the quarter with approximately 2K downloads per week. The app's active user base demonstrated a gradual increase, starting at 142.7K in early July and reaching 152.1K by the end of September.
Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw fluctuating download numbers throughout the quarter. The app experienced a significant surge in mid-September with downloads reaching 4.2K, though this declined to 847 by the end of the month. Active users also showed a rising trend, climbing from 16.3K at the beginning of July to a peak of 23.7K in mid-September, before settling at 19.4K.
PayPal - Pay, Send, Save displayed a notable spike in downloads in late July, hitting 2.6K, before stabilizing around 1K towards the end of the quarter. The app's active user count peaked at 5.1K in late July, followed by a slight decline, closing the quarter at around 3.7K users.
Chapeo Cash: Loan App In Kenya showed a remarkable increase in downloads starting from late July. The app reached a high of 4.2K downloads in mid-August and maintained a steady rate of over 1K downloads per week through September.
Tonkeeper — TON Wallet experienced a surge in downloads mid-September, reaching 4.3K, before declining to 334 by the end of the month. The active user numbers mirrored this trend, rising significantly from 1.3K in early July to a peak of 4.9K in mid-September, before falling to 3.1K.
