In the third quarter of 2024, the top finance apps on iOS in Romania showcased varied performance trends, as captured by Sensor Tower data.
Revolut: Send, spend and save demonstrated a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, averaging around 11K, with a notable increase to over 13K in mid-August. The app's active user base remained robust, starting at approximately 230K and peaking at around 253K by the end of September.
BT Pay experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, growing from about 5.5K at the beginning of July to a peak of over 9K by mid-September. The weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, starting at nearly 194K and reaching over 213K by the end of the quarter.
George Romania saw a steady climb in downloads, particularly in September, where it surged to approximately 7.9K. Its active user count also rose, beginning at about 76K and increasing to over 81K by the end of September.
Noul Raiffeisen Smart Mobile showed a significant spike in downloads towards the end of the quarter, jumping to over 16K in the last week of September. The active user numbers mirrored this growth, starting at around 88K and ending at approximately 109K.
Lastly, Raiffeisen SmartToken experienced a similar upward trend in downloads, with a remarkable increase in the final week of September, reaching about 11.6K. Active users rose steadily from around 32K to approximately 45K over the same period.
