In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top paid games on iOS in France showcased varying trends in revenue, downloads, and active user engagement. Here's a closer look at how each game fared during this period, with data provided by Sensor Tower.
Minecraft: Play with Friends, developed by Mojang, experienced a mixed trend in its weekly revenue, which started at approximately $12K in early July and peaked at around $13.7K in early August before gradually declining to about $8.9K by the end of September. Downloads saw a significant spike in late July, reaching 5K, while weekly active users started at 69K and decreased to 60.6K by the end of the quarter.
Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance TD from Ironhide S.A. was released mid-quarter and demonstrated a steady decline in revenue, starting at $7.5K in late July and dropping to $1.2K by the end of September. Downloads followed a similar pattern, beginning with 694 in its release week and decreasing to 105 by the quarter's end.
MONOPOLY: The Board Game by Marmalade Game Studio showed an upward trend in revenue through July and early August, peaking at $2.3K mid-August, before tapering off to $1.2K by the end of September. Downloads were modest, with a notable increase in late July to over 600, while active users climbed from 1.5K in early July to 2.7K in early August before stabilizing around 1.7K.
RFS - Real Flight Simulator from RORTOS SRL had a fairly stable revenue throughout the quarter, with weekly earnings fluctuating around $1.5K to $1.8K. Downloads remained consistent, with a peak of 218 in early August. Active users saw a slight increase, reaching 530 in early August before declining to 400 by the end of September.
Lastly, All in Hole by HOMA GAMES, despite being a late entry in late August, showed a rapid increase in revenue, climbing from $224 in its release week to $4.3K by late September. Downloads also surged, peaking at 4.8K in early September.
