During the third quarter of 2024, the top theme park apps in the United States showed varied performance trends on the iOS platform. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the top five apps in this category.
My Disney Experience experienced a consistent revenue stream, peaking at approximately $138K in early August. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 46K in early July, dipping mid-quarter, and rebounding to 40K by the end of September. Active users showed a gradual decline from 212K to 191K over the quarter.
For Disneyland®, revenue grew steadily, reaching about $25K at the end of September. Downloads began at 33K and saw a decline towards the quarter's end, finishing at 29K. Active users followed a similar downward trend, ending the quarter at approximately 86K.
Six Flags maintained a stable download rate, starting at 38K and closing the quarter at 22K. Active users decreased from 89K in early July to 66K by the end of September, with no revenue data available.
The Universal Orlando Resort app saw its downloads drop from 28K to 22K over the quarter. Active users decreased from 90K to 77K, with no revenue reported throughout the period.
Lastly, Universal Studios Hollywood™ exhibited a gradual decline in downloads, starting at 23K and ending at 22K. Active user numbers decreased from 38K to 36K, with the app not generating any revenue during the quarter.
