In the third quarter of 2024, the leading 2D cartoon games on the unified platform in Nigeria showcased varied performance trends according to Sensor Tower data.
Killer Bean Unleashed by Killer Bean Studios experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $47 in mid-August and ending September with $37. Weekly downloads hovered around the mid-30K range, peaking at 41.2K in early September. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 62.4K in early July to 64.4K by the end of September.
King's Candy Crush Saga maintained strong weekly revenue, peaking at about $8.1K in late August. Downloads showed modest growth, reaching a high of 34.5K in the final week of September. Despite a decline in active users from 456.2K in early July to 385.4K by the end of the quarter, the game remained a popular choice among users.
Gossip Harbor: Merge & Story by Microfun Limited saw its revenue climb to a peak of $2K in early September. Downloads started strong at 36.5K in mid-July but gradually decreased to 15.7K by the end of September. Nevertheless, active users increased significantly from 123.9K in early July to 237K by the end of September, indicating growing engagement.
Royal Match from Dream Games, Ltd. experienced steady weekly revenue with minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at around $2.9K. Downloads more than doubled from 19.9K in early July to 25.4K by the end of September. Active users also showed a positive trend, increasing from 199.7K to 231.5K during the same period.
Lastly, Bubble Shooter - Pop Bubbles by IVYGAMES, though not generating any reported revenue, maintained a consistent download pattern, starting at 22.9K in early July and tapering to 13.7K by the end of September. Active users grew steadily, from 92.9K to a peak of 113.2K in mid-September, before slightly declining to 105.3K by the end of the quarter.
