In the third quarter of 2024, Nigeria's gaming market saw varied performance among the top 3D cartoon games on a unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the trends for each of these leading applications.
MONOPOLY GO! from Scopely, Inc. experienced fluctuations in revenue, starting at $1.7K in early July and peaking at $2.5K by the end of September. The game's weekly downloads increased steadily, reaching a high of approximately 4.5K in late August before settling at 3.1K by the close of the quarter. Active user numbers showed a slight decline, with a decrease from 30.2K at the start of July to 23.8K by the end of September.
Blaze of Battle by Shenzhen Leyi Network Co., Ltd. had a notable revenue peak of $7.9K in early August; however, it experienced a steep decline thereafter, with minimal revenue towards the end of the quarter. Download numbers were negligible, indicating a stagnation in user acquisition.
Township from Playrix saw a consistent revenue stream, with an uptick from $1.5K in early July to a peak of $1.9K towards the end of September. Downloads surged mid-quarter, reaching 24.4K in the week of July 22, while active users saw an increase, peaking at 84.5K by the end of July before gradually stabilizing around 75.8K.
Gardenscapes, also by Playrix, experienced a dip in revenue mid-quarter, dropping to $686 in early August, but rebounded to $1.3K by the end of September. Downloads were inconsistent, with a notable increase to 7.4K in early September, while active users showed a fluctuating trend, closing at 22.6K.
Lastly, Fishdom, another offering from Playrix, maintained a steady revenue pattern, peaking at $1.1K at the end of September. Downloads reached a high of 6.9K in late July before tapering off. Active users peaked at 20.2K in late July and saw a gradual decline to 14K by the end of the quarter.
