In the third quarter of 2024, the Art and Design app category in Russia saw varied performance across the top five apps on a unified platform, combining iOS and Android data. According to Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated unique trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
ibis Paint X by ibis inc. maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads ranging from approximately 72K to 99K. The app's weekly revenue peaked at $214, while its active user base remained strong, fluctuating between 2.1M and 2.5M throughout the quarter.
AR Drawer Pro from Semar Digital Studio exhibited a significant surge in downloads, reaching as high as 108K early in the quarter. However, its weekly active users decreased from 76K to below 5K by the end of September, with no revenue reported during this period.
Sketchbook experienced consistent weekly downloads, hovering around 19K to 27K. Revenue was stable, generally staying around $70 to $90 weekly. The app's active users saw fluctuations, with a peak of approximately 135K and a dip to around 101K.
AR Drawer:Paint&Sketch showed a sharp increase in downloads early in the quarter, reaching nearly 160K, while active users initially surged to over 98K before declining steadily to about 4K by the end of September.
Finally, Drawing Apps: Draw, Sketch Pad from Photo Editor Apps Maker Studio maintained a consistent download rate between 10K and 20K weekly. Revenue was minimal, with occasional peaks up to $29. Active user numbers remained stable, peaking at approximately 586K.
