In the third quarter of 2024, the top books applications in Bulgaria showcased diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here's a closer look at each app's performance based on Sensor Tower's data.
Storytel - Audiobooks Library from Storytel Sweden AB saw notable revenue growth, starting at around $20.7K in early July and peaking at approximately $28.7K by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, beginning at 3.7K and declining to about 2.6K by quarter's end. Weekly active users demonstrated a generally upward trend, reaching a high of 42.5K mid-September before slightly decreasing to 38.5K.
Audible: Audio Entertainment by Audible, Inc. experienced a moderate revenue increase from $1.5K to $1.6K over the quarter. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 300 weekly. Active users rose slightly from 1.1K to 1.3K at the start of September, before stabilizing around 1.1K by the end of the quarter.
Litres: Books and audiobooks, published by LitRes OOO, showed modest revenue fluctuations, beginning at $312 and ending the quarter at $386. Downloads were low throughout the quarter, with a peak of 113 in late July. Weekly active users saw a small decline from 365 to 326 over the quarter.
Everand: Ebooks and audiobooks by Scribd had revenue starting at $241 and reaching $362 by the end of September. Downloads were generally low, with a peak of 117 in early August. Active user numbers remained stable, fluctuating slightly around 1.1K throughout the quarter.
Finally, GoodNovel - Stories & Novels from SINGAPORE NEW READING TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. reported a revenue decrease from $471 to $303 over the quarter. Downloads peaked at 166 in mid-September, while active users saw minor fluctuations, peaking at 813 before dropping to 655 by the quarter's end.
