In the third quarter of 2024, Estonia's book app market showcased diverse trends across the top five applications on the unified platform. According to Sensor Tower data, Elisa Raamat demonstrated a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting at 137 in early July and peaking at 200 by the end of September. This steady increase highlights its growing popularity among Estonian users.
Amazon Kindle showed a stable performance in both downloads and revenue. Downloads began at 149 in the first week of July, with fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending at 115. Revenue for the app remained modest, with a notable peak of approximately $70 in late July, followed by a more stable range between $22 and $49 in subsequent weeks.
The app Rahva Raamat also experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting with 98 in early July, reaching a high of 187 in late September, indicating a varied but positive trend in user interest.
For MIRKO, downloads showed a declining trend initially, dropping from 98 at the start of the quarter to a low of 57 in late August. However, it saw a recovery with an increase to 124 in early September before stabilizing around the 90s towards the end of the quarter.
Lastly, Goodreads: Book Reviews maintained relatively stable weekly downloads, averaging around 80-90 throughout most of the quarter, with a slight peak of 106 in late September.
