In the third quarter of 2024, the bubble shooter game category experienced varied levels of success in Nigeria. According to data from Sensor Tower, the top five games displayed unique trends in their downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.
Marble Match Origin showed a fluctuating pattern in weekly revenue, peaking at around $44 in the week of August 19. Despite a decrease in weekly downloads from 11.5K in early July to about 5.2K by the end of September, the game maintained a strong presence with weekly active users ranging from 70.5K to 84K.
Jungle Blast - Bubble Shooter saw a remarkable increase in revenue, culminating in a peak of $127 by the end of September. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from approximately 5.8K to 8.1K, while active users showed a consistent rise, ending the quarter at about 38K.
Viola’s Quest: Marble Blast experienced a gradual decline in weekly revenue, closing the quarter at $13. The game had minimal downloads throughout the quarter, with a slight increase towards the end, while active users saw a minor drop, finishing at around 141.
Bubble Witch 3 Saga maintained a stable revenue stream with minor fluctuations, ending September at $20. Downloads remained low, hovering around the 200-300 range weekly, and active users displayed a slight decline, concluding the quarter at approximately 1.8K.
Bubble Shooter: Pop & Blast experienced a decrease in revenue, with earnings tapering off to $14 by the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads showed modest numbers, peaking at 1.4K, while active users decreased over the period, finishing at about 9.2K.
