In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Germany showed varied trends across downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Uber - Request a ride saw a consistent increase in downloads, peaking at about 74K in the final week of September. This app also maintained a strong weekly active user base that rose from approximately 737K at the start of July to around 775K by the end of September.
Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a stable download pattern with a slight peak at 50K downloads in early September. However, its weekly active users showed minor fluctuations, remaining around 180K throughout the quarter.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus demonstrated a moderate download trend, starting at 8.6K in early July and settling around 8.7K by the end of September. Weekly active users showed a decline from 107K to 97K over the same period.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver recorded a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 3.8K and reaching 4.5K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 50K.
Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery showed a slight decline in downloads from 2.9K in early July to 2.8K at the end of September. Its weekly active users also decreased from 9K to 8.5K.
