In the third quarter of 2024, carpooling and ridesharing apps in Estonia showed varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the top five apps in this category on a unified platform, focusing on weekly downloads and user engagement.
Bolt: Request a Ride, developed by BOLT TECHNOLOGY OU, maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads hovered around 1.4K, showing a slight dip towards the end of the quarter, with a low of approximately 1.3K in the final week of September.
Uber - Request a ride from Uber Technologies, Inc. experienced a stable download pattern, with numbers ranging from around 480 to 580 downloads per week. The app saw a modest peak of 584 downloads in the second week of September.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed a notable increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter. Starting at 182 downloads in early July, it climbed to a high of 281 downloads in the second week of September, before tapering off slightly.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus, published by Comuto, had a more fluctuating download trend. Weekly downloads ranged from 36 to 150, with a significant peak in the week of July 22.
Finally, Cabify by Maxi Mobility, Inc. experienced relatively stable downloads, averaging around 50 per week, with slight variations throughout the quarter.
