During the third quarter of 2024, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Qatar showcased varied performance trends across the top five applications on a unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Uber - Request a ride experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting at approximately 9.4K in early July, downloads saw a dip to around 4.7K by mid-September, before slightly recovering to 5.3K at the end of the quarter. Active users for Uber remained relatively stable throughout the period, ranging from 99K to over 103K.
badrgo - Your way to go maintained a moderate download activity, beginning with about 7K downloads in early July and gradually declining to around 3.9K by the end of September. No active user data was reported for badrgo.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed a downward trend in downloads, starting at 3.1K and decreasing to 1.3K by late September. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, beginning at 7.7K and ending around 6K throughout the quarter.
inDrive. Save on city rides observed a decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 1.4K and dropping to just over 1K by the end of September. The app's active user base also experienced a slight decline, starting at 7.3K and ending at 6.8K.
Bolt: Request a Ride saw its downloads decrease from 1.1K in early July to around 794 by the end of September. Active users showed a minor fluctuation, with numbers starting at 4.3K and ending at 4.7K.
