In the third quarter of 2024, the top consumer finance applications in Austria showcased diverse performance trends on a unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.
George Österreich, developed by Erste Bank und Sparkassen, saw a notable climb in weekly downloads, starting with around 6.6K and peaking at 12.7K by the end of September. The app maintained a robust weekly active user base, beginning at approximately 1.14M and reaching nearly 1.22M by the quarter's close.
The Mein ELBA-App from Raiffeisen e-force GmbH experienced a consistent download rate, with numbers fluctuating between 3.5K and 5K throughout the quarter. Active users showed growth, rising from about 649K to 695K by September's end.
Splitwise, published by Splitwise, Inc., had a steady revenue stream, remaining around $500 to $600 weekly. Download numbers decreased over the quarter, starting at approximately 4.4K and tapering to about 2.3K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 11K.
The Volksbank ID app by VOLKSBANK WIEN AG showed a steady download trend, with figures ranging from 1.7K to 2.2K. Active user numbers hovered around 200 throughout the quarter.
Finally, the BAWAG Banking App from BAWAG PSK AG demonstrated stable weekly downloads, moving from approximately 1.6K to 2.2K. Active users experienced an increase, starting at about 30K and peaking at over 32K.
