In the third quarter of 2024, the top consumer finance applications in New Zealand exhibited varied performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
ANZ goMoney New Zealand experienced a relatively stable download trend, with weekly downloads peaking at around 5K in late July. Active user numbers showed a gradual increase, starting from approximately 198K at the beginning of the quarter and reaching over 219K by the end of September.
ASB Mobile Banking saw downloads fluctuate, reaching a high of about 3.5K in mid-July. The app's active user base maintained an upward trajectory, beginning the quarter at approximately 133K and closing at about 135K.
Kiwibank Mobile Banking downloads peaked at nearly 2.9K in late July, while its weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 239K by the end of the quarter.
BNZ Mobile experienced a consistent download pattern, with numbers ranging from 2K to slightly over 2.3K. Active users showed a slight increase, ending the quarter at approximately 47.7K.
The Westpac One NZ Mobile Banking app saw a peak in downloads at around 2.3K in early September. Active user numbers remained steady throughout the quarter, maintaining a base of around 74K.
