In the third quarter of 2024, the top dining and restaurant apps in Mexico displayed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.
McDonald's Offers and Delivery saw a notable peak in weekly downloads, reaching approximately 181K in mid-August. However, the numbers tapered off by the end of September, settling around 45K. The app maintained a strong presence with weekly active users fluctuating between 410K and 557K, peaking mid-quarter.
Domino's Pizza México experienced consistent weekly downloads, with figures ranging from 31K to 51K. Weekly active users showed a steady climb towards the end of the quarter, increasing from approximately 157K to 192K.
KFC México demonstrated an upward trend in downloads, peaking at over 37K in late August before declining to 25K by the end of September. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, with weekly numbers varying from 137K to 165K.
Burger King® Mexico showed variable download metrics, starting at around 20K and peaking at nearly 39K in late September. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, with a notable increase towards the end, reaching 157K.
Lastly, Starbucks México experienced a spike in downloads in early September, hitting over 50K before stabilizing around 20K. Active users peaked at over 502K in early September, demonstrating a significant engagement boost.
