In the third quarter of 2024, dragon-themed games continued to captivate users across the United States on a unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower reveals intriguing trends for the top five games in this category.
Merge Dragons! by Gram Games showed impressive weekly revenue, consistently staying above $850K throughout the quarter, with peaks reaching over $1M. However, weekly downloads experienced a downward trend, starting at approximately 53K and concluding at around 33K. Weekly active users hovered around the 500K mark, with minor fluctuations.
Frost & Flame: King of Avalon from FunPlus International AG saw a relatively stable revenue performance, typically ranging between $430K and $510K. Weekly downloads began at about 3.7K and increased to over 12K by the end of September. Active users also showed growth, rising from 46K to approximately 56K.
Call of Dragons by Farlight Games had a varied revenue pattern, with figures fluctuating between $217K and $318K. Downloads remained steady, mostly around 8K to 9K, with a slight increase observed in September. Active users ranged from 63K to 67K, maintaining a stable presence throughout the quarter.
Dragonscapes Adventure by DianDian Interactive Holding experienced a gradual decline in weekly revenue, starting at $321K and tapering to about $178K. Downloads also decreased, from approximately 11K to around 5K. Active users followed a similar downward trend, beginning at 149K and ending at roughly 113K.
Lastly, Dragon City - Breed & Battle! by Socialpoint displayed dynamic revenue trends, with weekly earnings ranging from $174K to $250K. Downloads started strong at about 54K but settled around 42K by the end of September. The game consistently engaged over 1M active users, demonstrating a robust user base.
