Top 5 Finance Apps in Egypt Q3 2024: Performance Overview

In the third quarter of 2024, the finance app landscape in Egypt showcased significant activity across both iOS and Android platforms. According to Sensor Tower data, these are the key performance trends for the top five finance applications.

InstaPay Egypt, developed by EBC, saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 166K in early July and peaking at approximately 254K by the end of September. The app maintained a strong presence with weekly active users rising from 2.3M to nearly 2.7M during the same period.

Halan: Lending, BNPL, Payments, an Egyptian app by halan inc., experienced fluctuating download trends. Downloads surged to around 165K in early August, followed by a dip, and then stabilized at around 100K towards the end of the quarter. Active users mirrored this volatility, starting at 244K and ending at about 294K.

Mashreq Egypt from Mashreq Bank PSC, based in the UAE, had a decline in downloads from 127K in early July to stabilize around 62K by the end of September. However, its active user count grew steadily from 345K to over 409K, indicating increased user engagement.

Finally, myfawry, developed by Fawry, demonstrated consistent growth in downloads, reaching 56K in late September from an initial 44K. Its active user base increased from 526K to 668K, reflecting a strong and growing user engagement.
