In the third quarter of 2024, the unified platform performance of Austria's top food and drink apps showcased varied trends across downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower's data.
McDonald’s - Non-US saw a fluctuating download pattern, starting with 4.7K in the first week of July, peaking at 11.9K in late September. Active users initially dipped from 213.4K to 168.2K but recovered to maintain around 204.5K by the end of the quarter.
Lieferando.at Order Food experienced a relatively consistent download rate, ranging from 4.5K to 5.6K weekly. Its active user base remained stable, fluctuating slightly between 53K and 57K throughout the quarter.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste started with 4.3K downloads, increasing to 5.6K by the end of September. Active users consistently increased from 90.5K to 108.9K over the quarter.
foodora AT: Food & Groceries downloads varied from 3.2K to 5K, with a peak in early September. The app's active user count showed minor fluctuations, ending the quarter with approximately 45.8K users.
NeoTaste exhibited a significant surge in downloads, starting with lower numbers and reaching 11.6K by late August. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 532 and climbing to over 11K by the end of September.
