In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top food delivery apps in Colombia showcases varied trends in terms of downloads and active users. This analysis is based on data from Sensor Tower, providing a comprehensive view of the market.
DiDi Food: Express Delivery maintained a steady presence in the market with weekly downloads fluctuating between 22K and 29K. Despite a slight dip in early July, the app saw a consistent download rate throughout the quarter. The weekly active users ranged from about 187K to 218K, with minor fluctuations signaling a stable user base.
Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery showed a dynamic pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at over 31K in late September. The app's active user base remained strong, with numbers hovering between 749K and 903K, reflecting its significant market penetration and user loyalty.
TaDa Delivery Bavaria: Bebidas experienced a varied download trend, starting with over 25K in early July and ending with roughly 14K downloads by the end of September. Weekly active users were relatively stable, remaining between 31K and 45K, indicating a consistent engagement level among its users.
Pideky had a more modest performance with downloads ranging from 3.7K to 8.6K. Despite the lower download numbers compared to its competitors, the app maintained a niche presence in the market.
Juntos+ showed a notable growth in downloads, reaching its peak with over 15K in early September. The weekly active users also increased significantly, starting from just 384 in early July and climbing to over 13K by the end of the quarter, marking a significant expansion in its user engagement.
