During the third quarter of 2024, the gacha game landscape in Ghana showcased intriguing trends across both iOS and Android platforms. According to data from Sensor Tower, the performance of the top 5 gacha games exhibited fluctuations in weekly revenue, downloads, and active users.
eFootball™ from KONAMI saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.6K in mid-September. Its weekly downloads also climbed, reaching about 8.2K in the same period. The game maintained a robust presence with weekly active users rising from 151K to over 180K.
NEXON Company's KartRider Rush+ experienced a varied revenue trend, with a high of $1.2K towards the end of September. Though weekly downloads remained minimal, its active user base showed a slight increase, peaking at 148 users in early August.
Smilegate Holdings, Inc's Epic Seven had a fluctuating revenue stream, starting the quarter at $1.1K and dipping to $271 in mid-July before recovering. The game saw a significant spike in downloads reaching 248 in early September, while its active users peaked at 223 in the same period before declining.
X.D. Global's Ulala: Idle Adventure demonstrated a gradual decrease in revenue, starting at $960 and ending the quarter at $387. The game did not register any downloads or active user data during this period.
HYBE IM Co., Ltd.'s ASTRA: Knights of Veda showed modest revenue, peaking at $437 in mid-July. Downloads remained sporadic, with a slight peak of 30 in mid-August. Active users were recorded only in late August, peaking at 31.
