In the third quarter of 2024, the top gacha games in Italy displayed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, according to Sensor Tower data. Here’s a closer look at the trends for the leading titles.
Last War:Survival from FUNFLY PTE. LTD. saw a fluctuating revenue trend, starting at approximately $200K in early July and peaking at nearly $280K by the end of the month. Downloads reached a high of around 59K in mid-August, while weekly active users increased steadily from 207K to about 280K by the end of September.
Whiteout Survival, published by Century Games Pte. Ltd., experienced a revenue peak of about $130K in early September. Downloads surged to over 33K in the same period, with weekly active users peaking at nearly 99K at the start of September before slightly declining towards the end of the quarter.
Metal Slug: Awakening-Season2 by HaoPlay Limited showed a significant drop in downloads from an initial 114K in mid-July to just over 2K by the end of September. Its revenue started at $7.7K, peaking at $20.8K in mid-August, while active users declined from 101K to around 11K over the quarter.
Doomsday: B.Duck from IGG.COM maintained a steady revenue, hovering around $27K in July, with a minor fall to $23K by late September. Downloads experienced modest fluctuations, peaking at 26K in mid-August, while active users remained relatively stable, closing the quarter at approximately 94K.
Zenless Zone Zero by COGNOSPHERE PTE. LTD. started strong with downloads exceeding 142K in early July but dwindled to under 1K by September's end. Revenue followed a similar trend, beginning at $32K and dropping to around $5.6K. Active users mirrored this decline, starting at 138K and reducing to about 20K by quarter's close.
